Premise 1) Eve was made to be a helper to Adam. (Genesis 2:18)

Premise 2) To be a helper is to be the one under authority of the helpee. (Complementarian assumption, needed to get to Conclusion A.)

Conclusion A) The man was made to have authority over his wife right from creation. (Complementarian teaching)

 Premise 3) The congregation (males included) were told to assist Phoebe. (Rom. 16:1-2)

Conclusion B) Phoebe had authority, and the bible endorses that authority.

Premise 5: Phoebe had authority, and the bible endorses that authority. (Conclusion B repeated as premise)

Conclusion C: A woman can have biblically endorsed authority in the church.
